October is here!~

I can't believe October starts tomorrow. I understand why educators postulate about the short school year! I don't have enough time to complete the training for teachers and that's hard enough. I have come across some interesting web2.0 tools and will create a post in the very near future.
The Actem conference is in October...so stay tuned ...webhead stuff is coming our way!

Blogging Workshop

Today I am holding a District Blogging Workshop. My goal is to motivate teachers to use classroom blogging as a form of collaboration between students, parents and teachers. I feel it's a solution to extent the school day and such a simple tool to learn to use.

I just learned there will be a scheduled outage for upgrades on blogger starting at 4pm....so I am hoping they get here on time and are ready to create!!!
